During my time in university, I attended 2+ hackathons. People from around the country would come together and build incredible things in 2-3 days. It was eye-opening to see the endless possibilities brought to life by a group of motivated and passionate individuals.
AI Smart Farming Competition
Royal University of Agriculture, Phnom Penh
Team: FarmZ (5 members) | Role: IoT & Web Development. Awarded Top 3 out of 13 teams. Developed FarmZ, an AI smart irrigation system using ESP32, environmental sensors, Blynk, and a web dashboard to automate irrigation, track soil moisture and water flow, with solar power integration based on direct farmer research.
FirstWave Hackathon
MPTC, Phnom Penh
Team: PetYerng. Built a healthcare-focused social media platform vibe-coded with Google AI Studio, enabling users to locate nearby blood donation centers, make quick emergency calls, and interact with an AI health chatbot for medical assistance.
